FUN MOUNTAIN

This project includes site documentation, artifacts, and two-color relief prints of linoleum flooring tiles found at the site of the abandoned amusement park Fun Mountain in Gatlinburg, TN. Inspired by the trace evidence of what has existed here, my research includes the history of the site dating back to the 1920's with the construction of the Mountain View Hotel, the first tourist hotel in Gatlinburg, that stood at this location before being razed to build the amusement park Fun Mountain : 2015 - 2017
