mote books : arriving February 2026

mote is a serial book publication containing sixteen pages, issued four times a year in small editions.

mote’s content and design style will change with each edition; think of it as an exploration of a thought or a small bite of a larger idea.

mote’s production process will vary depending on the artist and/or subject of each book and may include letterpress, screenprinting, collage, digital, or laser cut processes.

mote will feature one special edition each year: either letterpress printed, with unique additions/collages, or with original artworks available for sale along with the book.
